Why I started
Team Botak Kai?
The idea of starting @teambotakkai was when many aspiring emcees started sending me private messages to visit my shows. Since then, I’ve gladly accepted most of the requests and thought that some aspiring emcees really have the potential to do well in the industry! They could help fill in the void when I am unavailable but yet providing the same type of vibes and energy!
Emcees are not the most prioritised role for wedding couples to engage as many still ask their friends to help. I hope that by providing more options for the newly engaged, more couples will be open to the idea of having a professional Emcee to help them plan, host, and execute their dream wedding!

Brian started his wedding emcee journey after losing a bet to a friend, and has never looked back since.
He is well versed in Chinese, English and a little bit of Hokkien.
Being a fan of variety shows and standup comedies, he is witty and likes to apply the catchphrases that he "steal" in almost any situations that he can, lightening the mood wherever he goes. Standing tall at 186cm, you can be sure that he will OVERsee everything at your wedding!
P.S. Remember to listen out for his "swee swee bo zao zui" jokes!

Connie-chiwa! Connie is your friendly and super smiley emcee!
A young and energetic lady who loves interacting with uncles, aunties and also kids, Connie strives to achieve light-hearted and heartwarming events!
Connie’s emceeing style is casual and melody, so expect a mix of English, Chinese, Singlish and she will even add lyrics (or sing) in her speeches!
As someone who enjoys the attention on stage since her Secondary School Emceeing days, Connie first volunteered herself as an emcee for a close friend’s wedding and have never look back ever since!
The smiles on each and every guest motivates Connie, and gives her an immense sense of satisfaction.

Emcee Cheng has more than 15 years experience in emceeing and hosting, including emceeing in events in 10 different countries around the world (USA, China, Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore etc). Cheng adopts a fun, energetic but still classy emceeing style, keeping his audience entertained and a high energy level in the room!
Emcee Cheng is confident to ensure everyone has a good time, while ensuring the spotlight is on the newly wed couple, and a memorable time for all guests!

Rayson Emcee journey started out as sheer luck as his wife posted his talent on carousel and many engaged his services after seeing his works!
Rayson believe it’s because he truly enjoys hosting that he is able to pass on the joy to the crowd: Just like the song – it only takes a spark to get the fire going!
